Back from Bangkok Monday, December 7, 2009 YO! I just came back 2 days ago. Was busy unpacking my stuff, meeting up with baby etc. That's why till now then blog. Day 1: Arrived at the airport around 2:40. It was a 4pm flight. But we were so sway as our flight was choosen to do a manual check-in. Which means that it takes a longer time than usual. We nearly miss the flight. Ended up, the flight was delayed by 30mins. Arrived in Bangkok's new airport around 6:30, local timing. Took a cab down to Holiday Inn. By the time we settled down, it's already 9pm. Walked over to Central World for our late dinner. Had Taling Pling, some thai cuisine restuarant & it's nice. :) After that, walked over to Centara Grand Hotel for a drink & also met up with Uncle's friend. It's a open-air sky lounge. High up in the 55th lvl. Nice environment. I like it very much. Chatted till 1pm & back to hotel. Day2: Starbucks for breakfast. After breakfast, Uncle & his friends went for exhibition while me & aunt tgt with her friend went for SHOPPINGGGGGGGGGGGG! Shopped around Siam Square, Siam Paragon & also Pratuwan Princess Hotel's shopping centre. Lunch @ Tensho Yakitori, a Japanese Restuarant. After that, shopping again. :) I've bought so many clothings, & i only spent less than 100 sing dollar. *wink* My both hands were full of paper bags. More than 10. Lol. Dinner @ some food court. Aunt decided to walk back to hotel after dinner. But i told her that my arms & legs are breaking. The bags were heavy. Therefore, i suggested to take a tutu(I don't know whether the spelling is correct). But she said it's dangerous. -,- We ended up taking a cab. & all i got to say is, I SWEAR I WILL NV TAKE A CAB IN OVERSEAS EVER AGAIN! Bcos... the hotel is located quite a short distance away from the shopping centre. Instead of sending us back to hotel, the cabby drove us to some small lanes which are quite ulu. & also drove up to the highway. & there is smth wrong with this cabby. He's a bit siao. & We are supposed to pay only 35 baht for the fare but we ended up paying 100 baht for less than 1km. WTF. Back to hotel, told my uncle what happened & he laugh. -,- Had supper in the hotel's restuarant & zzz after that. Day 3: Breakfast @ Central World's Toast Box. After that, shopped around Central World. This shopping centre is a MUST to visit. It is way much bigger than the shopping centre in Singapore. & more variety of stuff to shop for. Though it's quite ex.... Lunch @ China White. Ordered a plate of char siew rice. & ended up, they give me 4 pieces of char siew without any meat, all fats. o.o After that, shop again. But i can't find anything nice for baby. :( Had a thai massage after that. I only did the foot massage for an hr. & it was shiok. :D At first, i want to laugh out loud when she touch my foot. Cos she seems to be like tickle my foot. But... i managed to tahan. Lol. Soon, i fell asleep. After the massage, need to wait for my aunt for another hr. So, i went out to the model shop outside. Saw a plane model which is quite nice & wanted to buy for baby. But... it's quite ex. :( Dinner @ some Japanese restuarant. Totally spoilt my mood for dinner. Shall not say about it again. Back to hotel after that. Day4: Breakfast @ Toast Box again. & Shopped at Central World AGAIN! After we buy our stuff, we went to pay the Airport Tax. We just sit down & were about to fill in the form, this china lady queuing behind us, keep rushing us, asking us: "are you done? can faster a not?" Nb, i feel like giving her one tight slap. Can't she see that we just sit down? Keep rushing us for what sia? Somemore go shopping wear a qi pao for what? Like some waitress. LOL. After that, i managed to buy smth for baby. :D Bought a belt for him. & hope that he'll like it. :D Rushed back to the hotel & check out. Took the hotel's Limousine to the aiport. After check out, i say bye bye to Bangkok. Reached Singapore around 12.30 am. HOME SWEET HOME! I MAKE A VERY VERY VERY BLUR MISTAKE! I TOLD BABY THAT I'LL BE BACK ON SAT MIDNIGHT INSTEAD OF SUN MIDNIGHT! BLUR ME! Ytd: I met up with baby. So happy to see him. :) Though it's like only a week, it seem ages. Passed baby his present, & glad that he like it very much. :D Called huiling as she missed call me a few times when i'm in overseas. She wanted to invited me to her bbq. But i can't. Sry... P.S i fell in love with Bangkok. Away... Wednesday, December 2, 2009  I'm going to fly off in about 6hrs time. Looking forward to this Bangkok trip as i can shop as much as i can. Hehe. Shall post again when i'm back. *wink* Tuesday, December 1, 2009 Tmr is my bangkok trip. Pretty excited about it. Gonna have two trips to there this month. *smile* Last Sunday suppose to meet baby but smth cock up. So i went to The Cove, Sentosa Cove with my uncle, aunt & cousins to view the apartments there. It damn fucking nice. Seriously. The apartments in Sentosa is real ex. How i wish i have the money & buy one apartment there. One of the semi-deteched caught my attention. Bcos it's design is exactly like the one which The Cullens owned in Twilight.  The Cullen's house Prom Night Thursday, November 26, 2009 My lappy is taking such a longggggg time to load the internet. Speed of the connection can go as low as 18.0 Mbps. -,- Well, had an awesome time for prom night last night. Yeah, A.W.E.S.O.M.E. It's unforgettable. (: Headed back home around 4 plus, got myself prepared & went over to my aunt's place to make-up. Everything seems to be so rush & i did not have the time to visit the salon & get my hair done. After that, went over to Bukit Timah to fetch Uncle. On my way there, 3 traffic jams & I'm running late for prom. FML. Reached Hilton Hotel & went up to find the rest. Everyone looks extremely gorgeous. Esp Bettina! I can't even recognise her at first. Haha. Took some pictures with the guys, Mr John Lim & Mr Tan S.P. Mr Tan's daughter is damn cute la. Haha. Went in to the ballroom & our table is right in front of the dance floor. Hehe. We played Who Wants To Be A Millionare, Don't Forget The Lyrics etc... As for the food, damn nice sia. All dishes are those kind of wedding dishes. Except for the shark fin... They use potatoes with prawn to replace it. Lol. Sad to say that i left early... Overall, this prom night is definately the best & the most memorable one. :D P.S. All pics will be uploaded in Fb. Had brunch with them. Chatted for a while & saw Teo Willy over there. After that, Hongtai left while Liwen & I shopped @ West Coast Plaza's Cold Storage for the baking ingredients as i'm going to bake smth for baby while Liwen going to bake for her mum. :) Everything seems to be screwed up & we can't decide whether want to bake a chocolate fudge or blueberry muffins or chocolate chips cookies. We bought the ingredients for blueberry muffins & when i reached home, we ended up baking cookies as the baking pans for the muffins were not suitable. We had about 6 attempts & the 1st few attempt was a failure. Which means the cookies were too soft. Lol. But till the last few attempt, the cookies were successfully baked. After the baking session, Darren ordered the Mac delievery. After that, Liwen prepared herself for her tuition's graduation dinner. Sounds cool right. Seldom got tuition centre organise a graduation dinner. Accompanied Liwen to Jurong East & she cabbed down to Arena Country Club meanwhile i went over to IMM to purchase smth. 18th Nov: Met up with baby & passed him the cookies which i've baked for him as part of the 1 year present as he couldn't get any leave on 19th. Oh shit, i've forgotten to take the pics of the cookies sia. :( Well, nvm. I'm glad that baby finds the cookies nice. & he said that it taste like famous amos cookies. Haha. *shy* But the texture is like the subway cookies. Lol. Going to pass him another present on other days. :) 19th Nov: Today is 19.11.09 & it's our 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! :D LOVE YOU SWEETHEART! xoxo Wednesday, November 18, 2009 Now is 10 15 & i still have not had my breakfast yet. Time flies. & tmr is our 1st year anniversary. Can't wait for tmr to arrive even though baby can't get any leave from camp. Pretty excited about it. :D Counting down 14hrs 45 mins to our 1st year. :) Monday, November 16, 2009 Ppl starts work @ 9 & i reach Bukit Timah around 7 40. I should have sleep more instead. Shag. Can someone give one tight slap to wake me up? LOL. Slept @ 1 plus this morning & wake up @ 6. I saw that ****ing gay auditor today, right here in my aunt's office. Browsing through the Bangkok map right now. & it's giving me a headache. All the words in thai, how you expect me to understand sia? Lol. Somemore words so small. But, for my shopping trip in Bangkok, no matter how much time i spent on finding the location of the Exhibition hall, I must continue to jian chi xia qu! LOL. I'm craving for food right now. Especially the food from lau pa sat. Can someone accompany me to go? Saturday, November 14, 2009 Overnight @ Darren & Jay's house last night. Today went over to JP while waiting for the both of them to finish their piano lesson. Had Pizza Hut for lunch. Drop off ah ma @ Pandan Valley before heading to town. My mood is totally ruin when my ah ma said smth which i do not like it at all. & only left 45 mins to shop in town as we need to rush back to fetch my ah ma. Shopped @ Far East & i only spend less than 30 mins to buy my prom dress as i like it very much. My mood is back after buying the dress. Home after that. After that, met the guys @ Wheelock Place. Accompanied them to Zara to shop for their blazer. Michelle watched 2012 alr. & i wanna watch it. She say it is worth watching though the movie is quite long. Home after that. 1st day Thursday, November 12, 2009 1st day of the holiday. & i'm starting to miss quite a number of things. 1) Stall 6 tom yum noodles 2) The laughter that we never failed to have during Mt lesson 3) The lame jokes during Chemistry lesson 4) Mrs Alison Cheong's grandmother tales during English Lesson 5) The lamest stuff we always like to do during school hours 6) Stall 3 muslim food (though it's a bit ex...) 7) Studying after school for o's 8) Mr Colin Koh's jokes during Pe & CME lesson ... & MANY MORE! |
